Honoring Ceremony
In line with H. M. King Abdullah II’s vision towards building a new Jordan, QIMA has developed an incentive scheme aimed at activating the role of the private sector in the Kingdom’s overall development process which will encourage performance excellence in different sectors.
The scheme brings national recognition to organizations, companies, corporations that pursue Performance Excellence, also to individuals who have demonstrated excellence, creativity and exceptional leadership in their chosen fields.
A ceremony for all honorees is annually held Under the Patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein to present QIMA’s trophies to the recipients as recognition to their achievements and commitment to excellence performance, which have made a difference to Jordan's economy.
The annual ceremony is attended by officials, investors, businessmen and media representatives.
QIMA adopts and implements a Model of Excellence and Creativity as selection criteria to encourage excellence, provide inspiring role models for emulation and recognize innovative accomplishments that reflect initiative, leadership, collaboration and increased efficiency. This model is based on scientific research and cumulative database that has been built over several years through clustering, analysis and classification of questionnaires and polls’ examining both private and public sector roll in the whole economy and trends in areas such as unemployment, inflation, economic growth, productivity, investment, recruitment of competencies Jordanian and technical development in the production and the provision of services.
Consistent with the requirements of deepening of the culture of quality in various sectors, QIMA launched a number of initiatives to assess and honor distinguished people who made pioneering achievements through their institutions or through qualitative performance in their various roles in the public and private sectors.
Through multiple activities and events QIMA initiatives could stimulate private sector to participate actively in the success of campaigns and outreach projects with public sector for the benefit of Jordan and thus activate its role as a major partner in dealing with the priorities of the nation and their issues. A selection of national companies and organization contributed remarkably to the success of these campaigns, the most important of which is Traffic Awareness Programs and the reduction of Traffic Accidents Program TAAP, Consumer Education and Awareness Programs CEAP and Water Rationalization and Preservation of the Environment Program WREP.
